This work is part of my ongoing exploration of fragmented identity and hidden continuity. The calligraphic forms are intentionally unreadable, shifting from language into pure visual expression.
Through layers of texture and erosion, the surface reflects time, memory, and the traces we carry within us. What seems broken or scattered is not an end, but a process of transformation—where fragments begin to reconnect in new ways.
At its core, this piece speaks of roots—not as something fixed, but as something constantly evolving beneath the surface.
Layers of muted blues, greens, ochres, and soft earthy tones flow into one another, creating a rich and atmospheric surface. Bold Persian and Arabic calligraphic forms emerge and dissolve within the layers, becoming part of the painting rather than simply resting upon it. The subtle transitions of color, texture, and script create a sense of movement and depth, where language gradually transforms into pure visual expression.
